Easy Family Meal: Slow Cooker Calico Beans Recipe
This slow cooker Calico Beans recipe is one of the quickest slow cooker recipes you will ever make! This is a regular in our house!
When I was a missionary for my church, I spent some time in an area where the members of the church would always feed us dinner. One night, I went to a members dinner and she served us a version on this. I fell in love!!
I immediately asked her for the recipe because I knew I would want to have this calico bean recipe again and again. I have changed it a bit over the years because of our taste preferences and because I was making it a little healthier.
I LOVE this easy family meal because it is super easy and very healthy! You can also serve it in a lot of different ways! My favorite is to eat it plain but my daughter likes it with rice.
